The 2025 International Women’s Day Celebration, hosted by Utah Refugee Connection and PDQ, honored and empowered refugee women in Utah through connection, recognition and joy. Held February 22 at PDQ Headquarters, the gathering welcomed 150 women, highlighting community leaders and fostering sisterhood across diverse cultures. Attendees shared stories, built new friendships, and engaged in art activities, leaving inspired by the strength and resilience of refugee women. With delicious food provided by Smith Entertainment Group, the afternoon created space for belonging and lasting empowerment.
