The 2026 International Women’s Day Celebration, hosted by Utah Refugee Connection and Millcreek Common, honored and empowered refugee women in Utah through connection, recognition and joy. Held March 21 at Millcreek Common, the gathering welcomed 130 women, highlighting community leaders and fostering sisterhood across diverse cultures. Attendees shared stories, built new friendships, and engaged in art activities, leaving inspired by the strength and resilience of refugee women. With delicious food provided by Bhutan House Indian Cuisine, the afternoon created space for belonging and lasting empowerment.
