Connecting People, Organizations, and Resources
There are more than 70,000 refugees living in Utah, each with distinctive needs and a unique story. Utah Refugee Connection was established to connect people, organizations, and resources—enabling refugees to thrive and greater collaboration within the community.
Our Mission
Empowering refugees is more than just giving them the means to survive—it is creating space for healing, growth, and mutual understanding as they rebuild their lives.
Utah Refugee Connection was established to bridge the gap in refugee services. Our goal is to ensure that refugees feel safe, seen, and supported, while creating meaningful ways for the community to learn and make a lasting impact.
Meet the People Bridging the Gap
We are a small nonprofit filling gaps in services for the over 70,000 refugees in Utah. We do this with one full-time employee, six part-time employees, a passionate Board of Directors, and a huge amount of community support. We esteem your contributions and ensure they are being used efficiently and effectively.

In addition to our public sponsors, we benefit tremendously from anonymous donors and organizations that give generously to help further our mission to help refugees in Utah. We also hold our everyday donors close to our hearts—Utah residents who support us through their small but mighty donations through Givebutter.
