The Back-to-School event at Granite Park Junior High provided critical support for refugee children resettling in Utah, ensuring a confident start to the school year. About 2,000 students received new backpacks filled with supplies, while an additional 2,000 were served through partner organizations. Families also accessed shoes, eye screenings, and immunizations, alongside resources for long-term success. With a carnival atmosphere of games, food, and fun, the celebration highlighted community collaboration and generosity, creating joy while meeting essential needs for refugee families. Special thanks to Zoey Downs and Maddie Ritchie for capturing the joy and energy of the day.
