The 2026 Halloween Celebration brought refugee families together for a day filled with fun, learning, and meaningful community connections. Beyond the excitement of Halloween, the event highlighted the important role parents play as their child’s first teacher. Families learned about the benefits of establishing healthy bedtime routines and how simple daily habits can support their child’s growth and development. Children enjoyed face painting, engaging activities, and the excitement of receiving Halloween costumes to participate in the holiday festivities. More than just a celebration, the event created a welcoming and supportive environment where refugee families could build connections, access valuable parenting resources, and create lasting memories together.
Thanks to Dolls of Hope, The Books on the Bus, Solight Design, and Zoey Marie Photography for all the help to make this event successful!
